When it comes to caring for your investment piece, the fashion house itself should always be your first resource.
Each brand has differing materials with its own characteristics, sensitivities, and care requirements. For example, Chanel Lambskin may require a very different approach than Dior calfskin. Prada Suede, Louis Vuitton coated canvas, and Bottega Veneta Woven Napa Leather, each have their own considerations.

Materials such as lambskin, calfskin, coated canvas, suede, woven leather, cotton, linen, and other specialty textiles can respond very differently to moisture, heat, sunlight, friction, cleaning products, and everyday wear.
Before attempting to clean, condition, repair, or treat your piece, identify its materials and review the brand's recommended care instructions. When professional care is needed, we recommend working with a reputable specialist who has experience handling luxury goods.

Handle with clean hands
Oils, lotions, makeup, and other residues can transfer onto delicate materials and contribute to discoloration or wear.
Protect from moisture & elements
Water, humidity, heat, and prolonged exposure to sunlight can affect leather, suede, textiles, finishes, and hardware.
Store it properly
When storing your bag, avoid overcrowding, excessive compression, or prolonged contact with materials that may transfer color.
Use the original dust bag whenever available and keep your piece in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight. Preserve its shape with appropriate stuffing rather than overfilling it.
Be mindful of friction and transfer
Dark denim, heavily embellished clothing, rough surfaces, and other materials can cause color transfer, scuffing, or abrasion.
